The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom’s Tears It’s a big game, and it can be easy to miss some of its best missions if you don’t know where to look. In the same (wild), it’s also easy to get overwhelmed trying to cut through the noise to find good shit. This is what we are here to talk about today. To set some ground rules, this is all content off the beaten track for the four main quests across Hyrule, so while some might be called a master quest in the game’s adventure history, you’ll still have to go out of your way to find them. Here are some of the best side quests worth researching Kingdom Tears.

Get the camera
It’s kinda annoying that the camera wasn’t just given to you early on, because who doesn’t love taking pictures of all their adventures around Hyrule? Who would spend hours in the dye shop creating the perfect fit and not want to show it off? If you want to free the photographer in you, head to Lookout Landing in the middle of the map and do the Camera Work in the Depths mission. This mission has Link teaming up with researchers Josha and Robbie to explore Hyrule underground. The job is short and sweet, but it ends with Robbie opening up the camera app for you so you can take all kinds of cute pictures around Kingdom Tears. Do it early and if you need some guidance, We’ve got you covered.
Obtain the ultimate ability of arcane
After Robbie unlocks the camera for your Purah Pad, you will be given a new quest called A Mystery in the Depths. As the name suggests, you’ll have to go back underground in Hyrule for this, and it will require a lot more time and effort than opening the camera. Joshua will send you back into the depths to follow a group of statues, each pointing at another statue, eventually leading to a destination where you will unlock the ultimate Ultrahand ability. We won’t spoil what it is for you, but suffice it to say that it will make building simpler moving forward. However, expect a boss fight at the end. It’s not a challenge, but bring some healing supplies and arrows to the depths with you.
Make pictures of the monster
While Hyrule Compendium gives you one reason to take pictures of the enemies you come across Kingdom TearsThere is also a quest in Tarrey Town called A Monstrous Collection that turns your photos into statues to arrange for your enjoyment. Kelton, who you will remember from Breath of the Wild As a monster enthusiast, he asks Link to take pictures of specific monsters he encounters throughout Hyrule. Once those photos are returned, he will make the photographed creatures into statues that can be placed in the diorama. It makes for great shoots, and gives you a reason to fill in your Hyrule feed along the way. Just be prepared for the difficulty to rise as the mission goes on. You’ll start off taking pictures of simple threats and then quickly escalate into some of the most formidable enemies.
Spread the good news
One of the first things I did Kingdom Tears He works with the Lucky Clover Gazette. The newspaper investigates possible sightings of the titular princess, who disappears at the start of the game. I got lucky by stumbling across this 12-part mission on the outskirts of Rito Village, because it’s a pretty comprehensive tour of Hyrule and requires you to visit 12 stables all over the map. It’s a great framing device for seeing swaths of the map, and gives you a reason to seek out shrines and Skyview towers for fast-travel points. In the end, you will get a nice nest egg of rupees, a golden horse, and an armor set that will help you climb without getting caught in the rain. Plus you’ll spend hours with Penn, the best reporter in all of Hyrule.

Democracy does not die when the princess is gone
Yes, Ganondorf is causing catastrophic problems for the citizens of Hyrule, but there is still time for local politics. The mayoral election is one of the highlights of Hatino Village. It follows two candidates for village mayor, one who represents the young fashion pioneer and the incumbent mayor who cares about the local community’s agribusiness interests. Link ends up interacting with both candidates on a series of missions, seeing much of Hatino’s cultural backbone in the process. While many side missions in Kingdom Tears Are you wandering across the map and seeing the sights, the mayoral election is within the boundaries of Hatino Village. It’s an intimate reminder that not everything Link faces is a threat of the size of Ganondorf.
Lean on me when you’re not strong
Kingdom Tears It has plenty of combos across the map between the Korok Seed and shrine activation, but a new addition in the sequel is the inclusion of Addison, a keen carpenter philanthropist who does his best for Hudson, who runs a construction company in Hyrule. He puts up signs promoting the Hudson Restoration Program, which is trying to rebuild Hyrule after the destruction of Ganondorf leaves the world in ruins. However, almost none of the signs are on stable ground, and Addison refuses to allow the laws of gravity to be disrespected by Hudson, and he catches it all on his own. But you, as a good citizen, can also help these signs stand up by using the Ultrahand ability on the materials next to each sign to support them so Addison can let go and get on with his life.
It’s a silly framework for an interesting microcosm Kingdom TearsDesign gives you a problem and asks you to solve it. There are no parameters, just tools at your disposal. It’s fun brain teasers all over Hyrule, and who wouldn’t want to help Addison find a new hobby?

Put on a show for the great fairies
Inline with zelda Tradition, the great fairies are good friends in Link’s corner as you travel around Hyrule. However, the giant magical ladies have gone into hiding ever since Breath of the WildThey only come back to the surface when they hear their favorite music. In the process of waking up the great fairies, you will also collect Stable Trotters, a group of musicians scattered across the map. There are four great fairies to find, but you’ll have to guide the members of the Stable Trotters to their lamp-like homes, usually using the Ultrahand ability to repair their carts. The reward is nice music and an ally to upgrade your armor. However, keep in mind that in order to start these missions, you will have to progress through some of the Lucky Clover Gazette missions.
