Sony’s latest photography-focused smartphone is now up for pre-order. Unveiled last week, the all-new Sony Xperia 1 V won’t officially ship until later this summer on July 28th. And ahead of schedule, Amazon is rolling out pre-orders with some notable savings. An unlocked smartphone is usually sold for $1,400, but now you can achieve some added value along the way. Included with the Xperia 1 V is a $50 Amazon gift card, as well as a pair of Sony’s unique LinkBuds earphones. It all comes down to $228 in added value and the best promotion for scoring the latest smartphone with something extra along the way.
Sony’s new Xperia 1 V arrives as the latest generation of Android smartphones, all of which come powered by Snapdragon’s 8 Gen 2 chip. It’s backed by 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, not to mention a 5,000mAh battery. . Not sold on the Pixel 7a? Google’s Pixel 6a is now more affordable
Google just last week revealed its latest smartphone slate, introducing a new mid-range device along with its first foldable flagship. But for those who just want to skip the high-end feature sets for something more affordable, the Google Pixel 6a has you covered. This entry-level phone already runs a more acceptable $449 than any other day, but it’s now down to one of the best prices of the year. Now on sale $349 charged Courtesy of Amazon, today’s offer goes down to $100 and is the best we’ve seen since last December.
The Google Pixel 6a arrives as a budget-friendly device from the brand’s previous generation now, taking a more affordable approach than its flagship Pixel 6/Pro counterparts. Powered by a native Google Tensor chip, everything is there from out there to deliver some capable specs in a more affordable form factor. The 6.1-inch FHD+ 60Hz screen is backed by up to 24 hours of battery life, plus 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. All of Google’s usual imaging prowess is packed into a 12MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide lens around the back of the device, too. Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 ANC earphones are a 9to5 favorite for $299
Released earlier in the year, the Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 has quickly become my favorite pair of earphones on the market right now. There was one problem really – the $399 MSRP. Today Amazon is helping to make new releases even more affordable, with one of the first discounts landing on the Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 earphones in $299 charged. Available in Canvas White pattern only, today’s offer saves you $100 and marks a new all-time low in the sale for only the second time.
To justify this high-end price, the Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 arrives with some capable dual hybird drivers backed by aptX audio and some of the best ANC available in a true wireless form factor. There’s at least 4 hours of listening per charge before it’s time to drop it into the Qi-enabled charging case that also doubles as an audio transmitter for using the earphones with anything you can connect a 3.5mm cable to from computers to in-flight entertainment systems and more. . Our hands-on review earlier in the spring explores what to expect in terms of sound quality and general functionality if you’re not yet sold either.
Govee’s latest Glide Y smart bulbs offer Nanoleaf-like designs
We absolutely love Nanoleaf here at 9-5, but there is no denying that its versions are on the pricier side of the smart home lighting market. Infusing much of the same standard vibe, the Govee Glide Y Smart Lights offer a notable alternative that’s already on the more expensive side. Now with some added savings, the price is even better. Amazon offers a smart lighting kit for $160. Down from $230, you’re pairing a $50 discount with the added savings of the coupon to deliver $70 in total savings. This matches the lowest it ever tracked once before directly from Govee while rounding out the best we’ve seen from Amazon.
Different from all of the brand’s other smart lighting kits, the Glide Y-pack lives up to its name by pairing together seven Y-shaped lights that can interlock into a number of different patterns. Each one sprinkles multicolored lighting on the wall and offers Alexa and Assistant support on top of the companion app.
JBL’s Clip 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker has a built-in carabiner and is priced at $40
Amazon offers the JBL Clip 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker for $40 through a range of different methods. It’s all down from the usual $50 rate, with today’s offering down 20%. It’s the first discount of 2023 and it’s the lowest we’ve seen in years, too. The JBL Clip 3 sports a compact design with IPX7 water resistance and 10 hours of audio playback per charge. An integrated carabiner allows you to clip the speaker to just about everything from a backpack to a shower curtain and more. This makes it the perfect choice for always having on hand to make sure you’re always enjoying some higher quality tunes than if you were listening to them through your phone’s speakers.
