Whether you’ve met impa (We met her at North Hyrule Plainwest of the Landing lookout), which gives youDragon tears“The main task of searching for every glyph and finding every dragon tear, or just checking out an avatar on a whim, collecting every memory is worth it for the context they lend Kingdom Tearsnarration. Furthermore, finding each teardrop will reveal a location Master of the sword (Maybe well before the main story, depending on the order in which you go about things).

Below, we’ll outline where to find each glyph, where to find each dragon’s teardrop within each special glyph, and some general rules of thumb that will make this side-scrolling adventure easier.

What do you know about Dragon’s Tears?

We’ll cover the specific Dragon Tear locations for each glyph below, but for those of you looking for some helpful tips to simply nudge you in the right direction, keep these pointers in mind:

  1. When viewing the glyphs from a distance (likely from the sky after being hurled from the Skyview tower), keep an eye out for the tear-shaped figure that is completely filled with gold “paint”, unlike many hollow tear-shaped figures that litter every glyph. The glowing pond containing the Dragon Tear will reveal itself in the form of a solid tear once you are almost on top of it.
  2. Since Link has to be on a solid base in order to “check out” each of the Dragon’s Tear Pools, these glowing pools will always be on relatively flat ground. This knowledge can help with glyphs drawn on hills or steep slopes; In other words, don’t waste time scrubbing steep stains. Your best bet is to investigate the small bumps and tendons that will be large and flat enough to house a dragon’s tear pool.
  3. Finding each teardrop will reveal the location of The Master Sword. See our entry for Tear #12: Dragon’s Tears less.
  4. Watch for the rocks in the middle of the tears and other symmetrical marks in the glyphs – there might be a Korok hiding underneath.

Without further ado, here’s the location (complete with map images and coordinates) for every glyph we’ve found so far, along with their corresponding dragon’s tears.
